Antalyadrive Antalya runs antalyadrive.com as a comparison site for car hire in Antalya. We are not a rental company and we own no cars. Around 975 vehicles from local Turkey suppliers are shown here through the LocalRent booking platform, and when you reserve one, your rental contract is signed with that local supplier, not with us. This notice explains, in plain wording, which personal data moves through the site, where it goes, why we are allowed to handle it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies to visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, and it reflects the same standard for every other visitor.
Nothing on this page changes the rental terms themselves. Those live in the terms and conditions, and the cookie detail sits in the cookie policy.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller for the processing described here is Antalyadrive Antalya, operator of antalyadrive.com, reachable at [email protected]. Our role ends where the booking begins. From the moment you submit a reservation, LocalRent (the booking platform whose inventory this site displays) and the Antalya rental company you selected each act as controllers in their own right for the data they need to prepare and hand over the car. They apply their own privacy notices, which you can read before you confirm. Requests aimed at the rental agreement itself, for example a copy of a signed contract or a damage report, need to go to that supplier; requests about this website come to us.
2. What the search form sends
Searching does not require an account and does not ask for your name. When you set a pickup point (Antalya Airport, the city centre, a Lara Beach hotel, Side or Kemer), a pickup date and time, a return date and time and optionally an age band, those values are sent to the LocalRent availability service so it can return the cars that are actually free on those dates. Filtering the results by class, gearbox or deposit level, for example narrowing to the 696 automatics, the 182 SUVs or the 467 cars with no deposit, sends only the filter itself. On their own, these parameters describe a trip, not a person. They become linked to you only if you go on to make a booking.
3. What the booking step passes on
Choosing a car opens the LocalRent reservation flow, which is embedded in this site. There you enter the details a supplier needs to meet you: your name, email address, phone number, the car you picked, your flight number if you are collecting at AYT, and a delivery address when the car is coming to a hotel. Those details go to LocalRent and from there to the local supplier. Antalyadrive Antalya does not receive your payment card data at any point. Deposits and rental charges are settled between you and the supplier, and prices are quoted in EUR, so nothing on this site handles card numbers, security codes or bank credentials. If you write to us instead of booking, we hold only what your message itself contains.
4. What we store ourselves
Our own footprint is deliberately small. The web server records ordinary access logs: IP address, timestamp, requested page, referring page, browser and device type. Those logs exist so the site can be kept online, so abusive traffic can be blocked and so we can see which pages actually answer people's questions. We keep the content of any email you send us while the matter is open. We do not build customer profiles, we run no marketing database, we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, and we do not pass your details to advertisers. There is no user account on antalyadrive.com, so there is no stored password to lose.
5. Cookies and analytics
A small set of strictly necessary cookies keeps the site working: they remember your language, hold your search parameters between pages and let the booking widget carry your selection into the reservation step. These are set without consent because the service cannot function without them. Analytics and any measurement tags that are not strictly necessary run only after you agree, and you can withdraw that agreement whenever you like through the cookie banner or your browser settings. Analytics data is read in aggregate: how many visitors looked at the airport page, how many opened a car, which pages people leave immediately. We do not use it to identify individuals. 6. Legal bases for processing
Under Article 6 of the GDPR every use of personal data needs a basis, and we rely on three. Booking details are processed because they are necessary to take steps at your request before a contract is concluded and to carry that contract out (Article 6(1)(b)); without a name and a phone number, no supplier in Antalya can hand over a car. Server logs, security filtering and aggregate measurement of how the site performs rest on our legitimate interest in running a safe, useful service (Article 6(1)(f)), balanced against your interests and limited to what that purpose needs. Non-essential cookies, optional analytics and any message you choose to send us rest on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time without affecting processing that already took place.
7. Who receives your data
Three groups, and no others. LocalRent, as the booking platform behind the offers on this site, receives the search and reservation data described above. The local Antalya rental supplier you chose receives the reservation so it can prepare the car, meet you and sign the contract. Technical providers acting on our written instructions, meaning hosting, content delivery, email and security filtering, process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. Beyond those, we disclose personal data only where a competent authority or a court legally requires it, and only to the extent required.
8. International transfers
The cars are in Turkey, which sits outside the European Economic Area, and visitors book from all over the world, so data does cross borders. Where personal data leaves the EEA or the UK, the transfer is covered by a recognised safeguard: an adequacy decision where one exists for the destination country, otherwise the European Commission's standard contractual clauses together with the technical and organisational measures our processors commit to. In practice the transfer is unavoidable and obvious in context: a rental company in Antalya cannot meet you at Terminal 1 without knowing who to look for. You may ask us for information about the safeguard that applies to a specific transfer.
9. How long data is kept
Data is held only while the purpose it was collected for still exists, then deleted or aggregated beyond recovery. The periods below cover what we control; reservation records held by LocalRent and by the supplier follow their own schedules, which include statutory obligations to keep invoices and rental agreements for several years.

10. Your rights over your data
You can ask us to confirm whether we hold data about you and to give you a copy of it (access). You can have inaccurate details corrected or completed (rectification). You can ask us to delete data we no longer need a basis to keep (erasure). You can have processing paused while an accuracy dispute or an objection is being resolved (restriction). You can receive the data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format and have it sent elsewhere where that is technically feasible (portability). You can object to anything we base on legitimate interest, and we then stop unless we can show compelling grounds that override your rights. Consent can be withdrawn at any moment.
Write to [email protected] with enough detail to find the records, for example the email address you used or the booking reference. We reply within one month and may ask a question or two first to be sure we are not handing your data to somebody else. Exercising a right is free. Where a request concerns a confirmed reservation, we forward it to LocalRent and the supplier, since they hold the booking file. If you are unhappy with how we handled a request, you may complain to the data-protection supervisory authority in your country of residence or workplace, and in Turkey to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
11. Children
This site is aimed at adults who can legally hire a car. Suppliers in Antalya set their own minimum driver age and licence-held period, and in every case the renter is an adult. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not direct any marketing at them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
12. Security, changes and contact
Traffic between your browser and this site is encrypted with TLS, the booking widget runs over the platform's own secured connection, and access to systems that could hold personal data is limited to the people who need it. No online service can promise perfect security, but the less data a site keeps, the less there is to lose, and that shapes how this one is built. Should a breach ever affect your rights, we would notify the competent authority and, where the risk is high, you directly.
We update this policy when our tools, partners or legal duties change, and the date below always marks the current version. Substantive changes are not applied backwards to data collected under an earlier version without a proper basis.
